For wholesale that
grows with its range, instead of breaking under it.

Seasonal imports, hundreds of set configurations, thousands of SKUs. Generic WMS solutions aren't built for this complexity. Waretracks is.

In mid-sized wholesale, a lot runs on experience: who knows where things are, when to replenish, how a set fits together. When that knowledge is missing, mistakes happen.

Waretracks turns this knowledge into rules in the system, not the experience of a few individuals. Gut feeling becomes a traceable decision, for everyone on the team.

What this means in operations

+1

Tailored automation

Stock movements run through the warehouse fully or partially automated, controlled by Waretracks, without warehouse managers having to step in.
+1

Complete digitalization

From inbound through putaway and replenishment to picking, packing and shipping: every step runs digitally, according to your company's rules.
+1

Built for seasonal peaks

Scales with your peaks instead of fighting them. Even in the busiest season, the same team handles the volume as well as during the rest of the year.

Features for wholesale

Bills of materials & sets

Components, quantities and configurations stored in the system. No incorrect kitting based on gut feeling.

Every set is managed as its own bill of materials with exact components and quantities. During picking, the system automatically uses this bill of materials instead of relying on what individual workers know. This works reliably even with hundreds of parallel set configurations and makes every kit traceable afterwards.

ERP integration

Open REST API, native connection to your existing ERP. No manual data maintenance between systems.

Orders, stock and master data are synchronized automatically in both directions. No manual exports, no Excel lists in between. New interfaces can be added modularly without changing existing connections, so the integration grows with your system landscape instead of limiting it.

Stock accuracy

Real-time physical stock by location instead of book stock that lags behind reality.

Every stock movement is recorded the moment it happens, not at the next inventory count. This structurally reduces inventory differences, because missing stock becomes visible immediately instead of piling up over months. Warehouse management and sales work with the same reliable number.

Batches & best-before dates

Batch and best-before date management where needed, not mandatory for every article. Automatic FIFO/FEFO at outbound.

You decide per article where batch or best-before tracking makes sense, instead of enforcing it for the entire range. At outbound, FIFO or FEFO applies automatically depending on configuration, without workers checking best-before dates manually. This reduces spoilage, complaints and rework.

Route-optimized picking

Pick routes take warehouse layout and weight groups into account, not the experience of individual workers.

The route through the warehouse is recalculated for every pick order, based on warehouse layout, weight groups and article placement. New workers pick as efficiently as experienced colleagues from day one, without months of learning the warehouse layout.

Warehouse zones

Product groups form zones in the warehouse. New inbound goods automatically get an optimal putaway recommendation.

Each zone follows its own logic for putaway and replenishment, matched to its product group. New inbound goods automatically get a putaway recommendation within the right zone, instead of workers searching for free locations.

Returns management

Receipt, quality check, putaway and ERP credit note in one continuous process.

Every return follows the same structured flow, from receipt and quality check to the credit note in the ERP, instead of a chain of separate manual steps. Decision rules, such as when an article is sellable again, can be configured to your own requirements.

Freight cost optimization

Freight costs are calculated automatically per shipment, without manual compilation.

The calculation is based automatically on weight, volume and shipping method per shipment. This creates cost transparency at shipment level and reveals savings potential that usually stays invisible with manual compilation.

Container management

Create containers with basic information directly in Waretracks. Book inbound by container number, even if a container holds several POs.

Containers can be created with basic information before they physically arrive. Inbound is then booked by container number, even if a container holds several purchase orders at once. This noticeably speeds up receiving, especially for import-heavy wholesale with frequent containers.

Cross-docking

Goods go straight from inbound to outbound without putaway. Planned via the ERP or detected by the system on the fly.

When goods can be passed straight from inbound to outbound, putaway is skipped entirely. This reduces stock movements, space requirements and lead time. Cross-docking is either planned via an ERP instruction or detected by the system when stock and an open order match.

Three perspectives. One system that fits everyone.

Entrepreneurship in the warehouse takes more than one feature per role. It takes a system that gives management, warehouse managers and IT the same answer: control, without depending on anyone's experience, on staff or on external service providers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we get before every implementation. And our honest answers.
How does the switchover work without stopping operations?
Ein einfaches, schwarzes Pluszeichen auf weißem Hintergrund.Screenshot of Google Maps showing a route from Zanzibar to Arusha in Tanzania with a 35-minute flight indicated and the map highlighting Tanzania and part of Kenya and Uganda.
Before go-live, we test every relevant scenario several times under real conditions in a separate test system, essentially a digital twin of your warehouse. Only when everyone involved gives the go do we switch over. At G. Wurm, that happened on a Monday. By Tuesday, operations were back at 100%.
How are our workers trained on Waretracks?

Training uses real use cases from your warehouse, not generic examples. New workers are usually ready after about 30 minutes, because the interface is self-explanatory and guides them step by step during operations instead of requiring a complete manual up front.
Does Waretracks work with a multilingual team?
Ein einfaches, schwarzes Pluszeichen auf weißem Hintergrund.Screenshot of Google Maps showing a route from Zanzibar to Arusha in Tanzania with a 35-minute flight indicated and the map highlighting Tanzania and part of Kenya and Uganda.
Yes. The interface is currently available in German and English, with more languages in progress. Because a dozen or more nationalities work together in many warehouses, operation is deliberately designed to be quick to understand regardless of language skills.
